A very enjoyable album to listen to, even if you are not a free-jazz or avant-garde jazz fan. The guitar and sax work is remarkable. The tone on McLaughlin's guitar and the way the bass is mic'd/mixed makes all four instruments sound in complete balance. The bass is mic'd as loud (if not louder) than the guitar. Very cool feel to the whole record. Feels like an ECM record before there was an ECM.

I love this album. The music is sublime. It is very meditative, unique & diverse.

Album excelente y si es bien cierto que los cuatro integrantes estan totalmente sincronizados al tocar. Me parece magnífico, dinámico y fresco. No pasará nunca de moda. No obstante, Mc Laughlin se contiene mucho a comparacion con Mahavishnu Orchestra. Muy bueno

Still my favourite three piece jazz guitar album. And from such an unlikely place. London jazz - what!! Enjoy it for its greatness, seldom surpassed. A classic.
